6 days in Vegas

These are my 6 outfits I wore while working in Vegas last week.

Re-wearing my jacket and white jeans. It's how you pack with a carry-on and still have room to do a little shopping. Which we did have a few minutes for and I picked up these boots at Vince Camuto for $45. Yes, I was a bit excited as I had seen them earlier this season for about $120.

Last day of work, and travel home. We had a red-eye flight so I wanted to make sure I was wearing something super comfortable. I was in this outfit for over 24 hours and it was like wearing pj's.

How I wore these leggings from day to evening. 

Daytime - I had my sons basketball game to go to and errands to run, so I paired them with a tank top and sweatshirt for a comfortable, easy look.

Evening - It was date night with my husband so I switched out the sweatshirt and boots for something more elegant and sexy.

This is definitely more preppy than my usual style.

Do you ever see somebody wearing something and think "why don't I wear that?" Well that's what I always think when I see somebody wearing plaids. But then when I put it on it just doesn't feel like me. I decided to give it a try anyway. Adding a bold necklace, cheetah print boots and a bright sweatshirt makes this outfit feel more like me. I wore it and enjoyed it. So go ahead, try something you wouldn't normally do and put your own spin on it.

The camo trend is still here and is staying for the spring season.

 I like it as a fashion statement when done with other neutrals, but not in "head to toe" Duck Dynasty style. Do you think it's a trend that should stay or go?

Accessories are the easiest and most inexpensive way to update the basic pieces in your wardrobe. This outfit is a prime example of just that. 

I bought a bold, trendy necklace and added it to a dress I have had for 4 years and a sweater I have had for 2 years. It makes my outfit feel new and adds a bit of color and interest.

I love wearing an all neutral outfit and tend to do so a lot. It's really a matter of personal preference and style. If you don't like it simply do a bright scarf or handbag instead. It should always be about what you enjoy and makes you feel beautiful.
