An outfit I wore awhile ago for running errands, getting my nails done and going to lunch. It's the perfect outfit when you really just want to be in your pj's. Yep, it's that comfy.

Wanting to feel cozy and warm at work today I layered a tank dress over a long sleeve tee, added a long cardigan and flat boots to make it more day appropriate. Leggings as opposed to tights also help my cause.

Santa Monica and Venice Beach

Our last day in LA was spent at Santa Monica and Venice beach. What a beautiful place! I believe I left half of my heart in this perfect climate and gorgeous city.

Hollywood, day 4

One shot of Friday is all I have to show you as my camera somehow deleted the first half of our day along with our all our photos prior to that. Technology!?!? I am very disappointed!

Either way, it was a very full and busy day. First up was downtown LA where we visited famous landmarks and walked through Skid Row (a few blocks where the homeless live). Talk about culture shock! From there we visited Little Toyko where I tried sushi for the first time. And then off to Rodeo Drive, where I had major label lust and couldn't afford anything. For dinner we tried an authentic Russian/Armenian restaurant. It was like the old movies when a stranger walks into a bar and the regulars stare, well we were the strangers. The staff was great and so was the food. This was probably the most culture I have had in one day in a long time.

Just a few quick shots before we headed out on Thursday on the hotel rooftop garden. We were going to the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and could not bring our camera, therefore we also missed a lot of pictures of the rest of our day. Have a great Saturday!

Hollywood, day 2

Our hair is out of control after a 2 hour "open top" bus tour.



Karen looks great in her Tank Top from Express, Cardigan from Elequoii, Jeans from Lane Bryant, and Shoes from DSW.

Yesterday was a great, sunny day in LA and we had a wonderful time taking a bus tour through Beverly Hills where we got to see lots of beautiful celebrity homes. Next up was an hour and a half walk (our choice) to a farmers market where there was great food, shopping and culture. I did have to buy flip flops after that trek in my heels due to little toe blisters! Today there will be band aids or flats in my outfit! Have a great day and thanks for reading.
