jump for joy...it's the weekend!

Mini me jumps for joy at the thought of the summer (which means no school), and wearing prints together. Ok, actually that's me that jumps for joy over the idea of wearing prints and patterns together. I just don't look this good jumping, actually, I probably can't jump like this!

I think if we all had a good laugh like this every day we would be happier, healthier individuals.

What I wore a few days ago for an entire day of dress shopping with my sis-in-law. Ok, we also ended up with quite a bit more than just a dress, but that just seems to happen. 

These new Clarks sandals did not disappoint in the area of comfort for an entire day of shopping!

Today I really like orange...and comfort

...actually I always like orange, and comfort. I can't believe I found Clarks that are as cute as they are comfortable. Clarks are "comfort" shoes and we all know that does not always equal cute. Well, I am here to tell you if you have written off those "comfort" shoes brands take a second look because I believe they are realizing us women want shoes that are as cute as they are comfortable. Ok, that will be all the fussing I do over my shoes for today. Happy Tuesday!!!

This is how I dress up shorts for work. This outfit took me from work to a trunk show event and from there to a bridal shower. Do you dress up your shorts or keep them casual? Can you wear this length of shorts to work?

I am so happy for the warm weather and sunshine. I feel like I am finally able to pull all my summer things out of my closet. I am loving these new shorts from victorias secret, perfect amount of room for my tush with very little gapping in the back, and for me that is a celebration. Perspective - My 9-year old daughter told me last week she doesn't want to be shaped like me when she grows up. When asked why not, she replied "because I don't want a bubble butt". Good thing I am aware of my bootie and comfortable with it! It comes back to being comfortable in your own skin no matter what anybody has to say about it (that's another whole post).
