These are my 6 outfits I wore while working in Vegas last week.

Re-wearing my jacket and white jeans. It's how you pack with a carry-on and still have room to do a little shopping. Which we did have a few minutes for and I picked up these boots at Vince Camuto for $45. Yes, I was a bit excited as I had seen them earlier this season for about $120.

Last day of work, and travel home. We had a red-eye flight so I wanted to make sure I was wearing something super comfortable. I was in this outfit for over 24 hours and it was like wearing pj's.

My outfit today is just simply a creative mush-mosh of textures. And I like it. Interesting outfits make me happy and make it feel like me. 

What do you like in an outfit? Simplicity? Color? Pattern? Edge? The list goes on and on. Whatever it is in an outfit that makes it feel like you, wear it with confidence and have a marvelous day!

oversize and slouchy...

This is one of my favorite sweaters (along with a blue one just like it, don't judge) and I wear it all the time. It's oversize, slouchy and absolutely perfect for every occasion. In this case I wore it to work with some pattern and color.

Tell me, do you enjoy an oversize sweater or do you just feel too slouchy? For me, it definitely depends on the fit/cut of the sweater.

A jeans and tee outfit; which can be so much more than a plain pair of jeans and a free t-shirt. This outfit is just as comfy but much more interesting and stylish. It's about paying attention to fabrics, patterns, and adding accessories.

#1 Fabrics and Pattern - Choose comfortable jeans with stretch and maybe a fun color or pattern. Tees; buy a better knit and your shirt will fit better and last longer. Doing a tee in a simple stripe, polka dots, graphics or whatever pattern you prefer will instantly add some interest to your outfit.

#2 Adding Accessories - I think this is one of the most important elements to creating a great outfit. Without accessories this really is just a jeans and tee outfit. And if that's what you prefer then by all means rock it out. For those of you who enjoy accessories but struggle with knowing just how to wear them, start by adding one piece. You will gain confidence if you just keep trying. If not, hit me up with a question and I will do my best to answer.

 Buy jewelry, scarves, shoes and handbags that you truly love and you will wear them all the time. Start with the basics; such as silver or gold and neutrals, then add some fun colors. Most of all, don't over think it and have fun with it.

I wore this for a casual day of meetings and errands. I was feeling rather blah that morning so I dressed as bright and fun as I could to lift my mood. It worked.

 Tell me...do you dress according to your mood or can you dress yourself into a mood?

For instance - If you're feeling blah do you wear gray and black? If you're feeling fat do you wear something big and black? I could go on and on... I truly believe you can get yourself into a better mood by wearing something that makes you feel pretty.

I love this time of year when the layering starts, even though it is still hot in Florida! I'm glad that I can choose to layer and don't have to to stay warm! Let me just say that I love, love living here and don't miss the cold one bit!!
