I love this dress I got at H & M earlier this summer. This is the perfect dress to wear with leggings for fall/winter. It's still warm here so I kept it sleeveless, but a long sleeve tee, sweater, or jacket would look great too. I love pieces like this that transition easily from summer to fall/winter.

I am totally loving all the camo I am seeing for fall! I guess you don't need to be a hunter to rock it anymore! Lol I love this military inspired camo vest from Forever21 and it was only $25!

void of color

Neutrals... Love them all in one outfit or feel like it needs color?

When working with clients I find that most women love neutrals because they are "safe" and thought process free. I love pairing neutrals as I think they can be very dramatic and interesting when using patterns and adding accessories.

Jacket to Vest DIY

I have been wanting a white denim vest for awhile since I wear my regular denim one all the time.

Going through my closet I found this white denim jacket I had not worn for awhile. Well...I started thinking... and after trying it on and making sure it was the length I wanted for a vest I got busy...

I simply cut the sleeves off as close as I could to the seam and then put a few hand stitches around the lower half of the arm hole to tack the seam in place.

After about 15 minutes I had my new white denim vest, and I can't wait to wear it.

Sometimes we simply need to shop our own closets in order to see our clothes in a new light.

Happy closet shopping and DIYing! Is that a word?

dramatic stripes

This 7 year old denim vest has been on serious rotation in my wardrobe lately. It's perfect when you want a denim jacket but without the warmth.

Over the years it's been on my recycle pile a few times and I always end up pulling it back out. So happy for that right now.

wish I was wearing heels...

...however, every once in a while I'm sensible and wear flats to work depending on my job for the day. This was one of my 11 hour days at bfearless and at the end of the day my feet appreciated my sensibility.

An 11 hour day also calls for an easy knit dress, the kind that you wear when you really want to wear nothing at all or stay in your pj's all day. Yes, it's that comfortable.
