My favorites shoes and sandals are all my nude colored ones. You can wear them with everything, and it's a bit more modern than white. Buy them to match your skin tone for a longer leg line. Mine tend to be more on the taupe side (Due to my pale, transparent skin). Caramel colored ones look great on people with a darker skin tone. Happy shoe shopping!
