A dressier tank top, jacket and wedges immediately make a pair of shorts less casual and more work appropriate. Now obviously it depends hugely on your place of work on whether you can pull this off or not. As an Image Consultant I can do this depending on what my job consists of for that day. Make sure shorts are allowed at your place of work before attempting this. If they are not, try it for the weekend or evening.
Either way, mix it up and have fun with your wardrobe.

Ok, I just realized that my title could go so many directions. Today, though it's talking about the studs on my tank top and the slightly slouchy boyfriend jeans.
Now, I am a 5'2", curvy gal and generally look horrible in anything that is labeled a boyfriend jean or remotely resembles such. So when I found these Dittos jeans at bfearless, a local boutique I was thrilled since they have a boyfriend feel to them without the crotch sitting 3" below my actual crotch. And they are about as soft as butter. Yes. Butter. That's what I think about... Maybe that's why I'm so curvy...
This is one of those tops that doesn't look as great on the hanger but fits really well once it's on the body. It's yet another reason to try things on when you are in a store.
I also want to share with you how ridiculously amazing these Lysse denim leggings are (now available at bfearless, a local boutique). They have this extra tummy control panel around the waist that does all this nipping and tucking for you. No sucking it in when you are wearing these babies. My kind of clothing for sure!
