An outfit I wore for a whole day of shopping with clients. 

I love that its boot season. I think they make it much easier to look stylish while being comfortable. 

The flat/low heel boot selection is endless these days. When shopping for boots love the style first, the color second and you will wear them constantly.

A quick stop for pics before work while in Chicago. Leather details are everywhere this season and I love it all. The wide leather stripe on the side of my leggings make them a bit more special and interesting.

I chose brown boots with my black leggings since I have brown in my sweater and it creates a more interesting outfit. Black boots would have given me a longer leg line but this day brown boots made me happier. And sometimes that overrides longer looking legs.

I love this dress I got at H & M earlier this summer. This is the perfect dress to wear with leggings for fall/winter. It's still warm here so I kept it sleeveless, but a long sleeve tee, sweater, or jacket would look great too. I love pieces like this that transition easily from summer to fall/winter.
